Rangga Trails: The Story
At Rangga Trails, we specialize in birding-focused journeys across Sulawesi, Halmahera, and other key birding destinations in Indonesia, while also offering carefully crafted expeditions to Carstensz Pyramid in West Papua as one of the world’s seven summits, and culture, nature, and adventure tours in North Sulawesi and beyond. Every trip we design is personal, flexible, and deeply connected to the places we explore.
Travel in Indonesia is more than moving from one place to another — it is about listening to the forest at dawn, watching endemic birds emerge from the canopy, sharing stories with local communities, and understanding landscapes shaped by time and tradition.
Rangga Trails was born from Angga’s passion for nature, wildlife, and landscape photography—shaped by years of exploring Indonesia’s forests, mountains, and remote corners, and strengthened by a formal background in tourism after graduating from a local university with a major in Travel Bureau.
